SENIOR DIVISION (15-16)
ä Sharon 6, Hermitage 4 — At Buhl Park, Zach Kepple homered and singled to lead Sharon to the championship victory.
Cory Johnson went the distance for Sharon. He fanned 9, walked 1 and scattered 7 hits.
Tyler Armstrong and David Shafer pitched for Hermitage. They teamed up to strike out 3, walk 1 and gave up 11 hits.
Offensively for Sharon, Gregory Rearick ripped a pair of doubles, Jeff Gavin and Bryce Vallely doubled and singled and Johnson, Jake Dillon and Fred DeMartinis had 1 single each.
For Hermitage, Lucas Gurrera singled and doubled. Also, Taylor Englebaugh had a 2-bagger, Seth Baughman doubled and Tyler Armstrong and Jordan Benes singled.
MINOR DIVISION (9-10)
ä Grove City 2, New Castle Red 1 — At Grove City, the hosts snapped a 1-1 deadlock by scoring a run in the bottom of the 5th inning and went on to cop the title.
Matt Gordon earned the mound victory in a complete-game, 2-hitter. He chalked up 9 strikeouts and walked 1.
Frankie Walker threw a complete-game, 3-hitter for NCR. He fanned 2 batters and walked 5.
At the plate for GC, Gordon doubled and Derik Turner and Ben Lucas singled.
For NCR, Walker doubled and Ethan Pheagly singled.

Winner’s Bracket Finals
ä Grove City 13, Butler Township 9 — At Saegertown, Grove City posted a 4-run victory over Butler Twp.
Jon Anderson went the distance for GC. He struck out 4, walked 4 and allowed 7 hits. He also belted a 2-run homer in the 4th inning.
Also for GC, Torin Smith had 2 singles and 2 RBI, Dom Chutz doubled and drove in a pair of runs, Tyler Devine collected 2 singles, blasted a 2-run homer in the 1st frame and plated 5 runs, Brian Murone doubled and singled and Erik Record registered a pair of singles.
Alex Zeigler allowed 6 runs on 7 hits, fanned 2 and walked 2 in 1 2/3 innings for the loss.
Offensively for Butler, Zeigler, Dalton Koebler and Thomas Bruce homered.
Grove City’s next game is 4 p.m. Saturday. They play the winner of tonight’s Warren National vs. Butler Township contest.
